The Thule OutWay Platform is a boot mounted cycle carrier that can transport up to two bikes and is designed not to interfere with the rear number plate on your car.
With a raised up design, you will still have your rear number plate visible, it removes the need to have a light board plug and external light board on your car. A torque limited cable attachment system means that you can easily mount the OutWay platform to the boot lid of your car while reducing the risk of over tightening.
Your bike secures to the OutWay platform using ratcheting wheel straps and a torque limited arm that attaches to your top tube. The arms also include a lock and key system to prevent the bike arms from coming loose.
When bikes are not mounted to the OutWay platform, it is easy to remove from your car and fold it flat for storage. If you are keeping the OutWay platform on your car, it is still possible to open the boot with no bikes loaded.
