This arm is used in conjunction with the Backspace XT and a Velospace XT 3 tow-bar mounted cycle carrier and Velospace XT 4th bike adapter, allowing you to mount a 4th bike.

The Velospace XT 4th bike adapter is required and sold separately, this includes an arm for attaching the 4th bike to the Third bike, however with the Backspace in place the 3rd bike does not exist. This arm solves this issue and allows you to attach the Bike directly to the cycle carrier, with no other bikes loaded or the Backspace in place.
